Unai Campo is the chef, having worked in well-known grills around Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, he has placed himself at the front of the establishment and he specializes in fresh, seasonal products on the grill (meat, fish, vegetables…). The mollusks or octopus on the grill are delicious!
His secret lies in the selection of fresh, seasonal ingredients from the surrounding villages and farmers, fishermen, and even down to the vegetables—aromatic and citric from a small operation in Bakio.
The Porrue also serves mixed drinks which includes their original presentation of the gin and tonic with aromatic ice made from Porrue’s own lemons. And, a spectacular champagne list.
