The Serantes Kultur Aretoa performing arts and cinema venue was founded in 1995 and features three auditoriums with the following capacities: Hall 1: 600 seats, Hall 2: 194 seats, Hall 3: 190 seats.
In addition to its regular programme, Serantes Kultur Aretoa also hosts the Santurtzi International Theatre Festival, which began in 1979. It is the oldest in Bizkaia and one of the longest-running in Spain.
