A revamped Bilbao classic returns with a new leisure concept

After an extensive renovation, Café Teatro Davinci reopens its doors to surprise Bilbao locals with a fresh take on nightlife and leisure.

A classic of Bilbao’s nightlife, now offering a brand-new space in the heart of the city, featuring two clearly defined areas: the main venue and the Arbolantxa terrace.

The venue has been completely redesigned with a modern take on Art Deco. It features a long, backlit alabaster bar with an integrated DJ booth, and large glass panels that seamlessly blend the dark interior with the outside light — night and day, formality and fun.

Also noteworthy is the reserved area — a private space with its own bar that can operate independently from the rest of the venue, and even be closed off with dramatic curtains that add a theatrical touch.

From the very start of the renovation, special care was taken to ensure air quality inside the venue, installing state-of-the-art ventilation systems. Top priority was also given to sound quality and insulation, with the aim of creating a space that not only celebrates nightlife but also respects the well-being of its surroundings.

Overall, each area is designed to offer something unique, creating a space full of personality — an inviting, laid-back place to enjoy the night in different ways.

Arbolantxa Terrace

This unique experience extends beyond the interior, onto the Arbolantxa Terrace — a 600 m² rooftop at street level.

This space aims to become a daytime leisure hotspot for a more mature audience, those who prefer to enjoy their free time in daylight.

Designed with multiple levels, surrounded by Asian-style greenery and distinctive furnishings, the terrace invites guests to relax and enjoy good conversation.

One of the defining features of this rooftop is a large space envisioned for future events and activities for all audiences: art and flower markets, fashion pop-ups, family scavenger hunts, chess tournaments, and all kinds of gatherings that will bring life and community to a previously underused space.
