Trueba Restaurant, Bilbao’s hidden gem

Located in the very heart of Bilbao, this recently renovated restaurant offers a menu shaped by seasonal products and a carefully curated wine cellar featuring selections from small, independent winemakers.

Its cuisine is honest and unpretentious, rooted in tradition, and complemented by attentive, detail-oriented service in the dining room.

Signature dishes include Txangurro a la Donostiarra (Basque-style spider crab), slow-cooked suckling pig over truffled mashed potatoes with salad, and Volandeiras (queen scallops) with Bilbaína emulsion and chilli caviar, among others.

A warm and peaceful atmosphere in the centre of Bilbao, right by the Abando Metro exit.

Open for lunch every day and for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.

Private group dinners available on weekday evenings upon request.
